Everything in this article is beautiful.

However I must say that though the article suggests a doership, there is no doer - to become/stay happy.

Happiness is kind of automatic and originally present. We humans have a tendency to think that we have lost it and we have to look for it, and look for it we will. I must admit and acknowledge that this simple truth I realised only in the saddest moments of my life - sadness that came from losing most of the things (that you have mentioned in the article) but somewhere through the sadness I could sense that happiness was trying to peek through - without me trying to find it. This is when I realised how happiness is our original face. It is just there.

And if we don't sense it, then that is because of a great 'forgetfulness'. Some seers and sages have mentioned this forgetfulness. Maybe the doer bit of us can do something about this forgetfulness :)

All of you - please know that You Are Happy! 😊

Thanks for sharing this!

I’ve heard Mo Gawdat use the analogy of an iPhone. Your iPhone works fine and then you start accumulating all these apps and data and other useless junk and then it starts to malfunction. So Happiness is really about removing illusions and thoughts that prevent happiness. Tony De Mello makes a similar point using the analogy of Happiness as sort of the blue sky and then you have clouds which represent various mental formations moving in and out. You did a great job capturing it!
