The Happiness Encyclopedia
A new resource from the Happiness PhD Project...
The Happiness PhD Project is an independent learning and education initiative: the mission is to study and teach the art and science of happiness for one and for all.
To this end, I’m launching a one-of-a-kind digital happiness encyclopedia.
There was a famous sociologist named Niklas Luhmann who, after years of independent study was awarded a professorship. They asked him to name his project and he said — “My project was entitled, at that time and since: Theory of Society; term: 30 years; costs: none.”
I’d say the same for my work — Theory of Happiness; duration - lifetime; costs - none.
This is the foundation of this work… Over the coming weeks, I’ll publish entries that will come together to form the shortest possible practical theory of happiness. I’m sure I’ll miss things or have opportunities for improvement. I value your participation and input.
So, join me in studying (and practicing) life’s most important subject.
Your happiness nerd,
Jackson K.
PS — I will remind you that you can support the Happiness PhD Project (and get extra courses and resources) by becoming a paid supporter.
